Documents for Authors
L’Atalante. Revista de estudios cinematográficos accepts the publication of original essays on interdisciplinary or single-topic subjects related to theory and/or cinematographic praxis that stand out for their innovative nature.
People interested in contributing to the journal as authors must submit their complete article proposal as indicated in the Submission Guidelines via this platform, attaching the following documents:
- Article writing template. Upload this file in step 2 of the submission process.
- Images. It is recommended to include between four and six images in order to illustrate each article. These images must be attached as independent or ZIP files in step 2 of the submission process, and must comply with the requirements established in the section related to graphic material in the Guidelines. Furthermore, it is the author’s responsibility to obtain the necessary permission for reproduction. For more information on this question, please check the following document (in Spanish omly).
L'Atalante only accepts the submission of original and unpublished articles for the sections Notebook (monographic theme) and Vanishing Points (miscellaneous theme) through the calls for papers (CFP) that will be published periodically. Texts received outside the stipulated reception period will be rejected and authors will be urged to resubmit them within the stipulated period.
All submissions must be made through the OJS platform on the journal's website www.revistaatalante.com.
