Bio
José Luis Castro de Paz (A Coruña, 1964) es historiador del Cine y Catedrático de Comunicación Audiovisual de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. Ha publicado numerosos artículos en revistas científicas, participado en obras colectivas, y coordinado volúmenes sobre diversos aspectos y figuras vinculadas al arte cinematográfico. Entre sus numerosos libros destacan: El surgimiento del telefilm (1999), Alfred Hitchcock (2000), Un cinema herido. Los turbios años cuarenta en el cine español (2002), Fernando Fernán-Gómez (2010), Del sainete al esperpento. Relecturas del cine español de los años 50 (2011) o Sombras desoladas (2012).
