Abstract
Generation Kill (2008), the new proposal of David Simon —The Wire (HBO, 2002-2008)— this time sharing the creative responsibilities with Ed Burns, on the basis of the book by Evan Wright, not only has a suggestive and polysemic title but seriously deals with one of the clearly regrettable and shameful chapters of our times: the Second War in Iraq. The type of reflection that we carry out in this paper is structured around three main concepts: aesthetics, ethics and epic.
